4. "Enriched In Everything: Biblical Lessons In Giving"by Janet M Magiera

The title of this book, Enriched in Everything, is the end result of the application of all of the principles discussed in the lessons on giving. It comes from II Corinthians 9:8-10. The verse that is quoted the most is "grace should abound." Why did we not read the rest of the context? When God pours out his grace for every good work, then the person has something to give--both seed and bread. The completeness of the supply is poured out! Then BEING enriched, it causes great thankfulness to God. This is the way we can see how to help people in this area.

If there is great thankfulness abounding in a person's life, they are practicing these principles. If not, we can backtrack to determine the problem. It starts with being motivated by love and then to practice GIVING. Many types of giving are discussed in the book: giving to get, giving from fear, giving because of pressure from others. 5. "No Such Thing As Luck: A Biblical Perspective" by Charlie P. Johnston Jr.

The Book, No Such Thing as Luck dismantles both the ancient and modern deceiving concepts of fate, destiny, lot, fortune and chance. These are the dubious words our dictionaries use to define luck. Not any more! This book has successfully invalidated the standard definition of luck.
